Why is the infant side so firm?
A firm, flat surface is what safe-sleep guidance calls for in the first year. The coconut-fibre side is deliberately firm for infants; flip to the softer latex side around their first birthday.
Will it smell when it arrives?
Natural wool can carry a mild lanolin scent out of the box. It's harmless and fades fast - let the mattress air for a day and it's gone. What you won't get is the chemical off-gassing of foam mattresses.
Does it fit my crib?
It's made to the US standard crib and toddler bed size, so it fits any full-size crib sold in the US. Exact dimensions are on the product page.
How does the 100-night trial work?

Can I actually verify the certifications?
Yes, and we wish more people asked. Our GOTS and GOLS licenses are listed on the public certification registry, and every batch is covered by transaction certificates.
