We ship all orders from our warehouse located in Arizona to make sure your order arrives as quickly and as safely as possible.
We offer Free Shipping to all of USA, with a few exceptions such as Hawaii, Alaska & military bases (shipping for these locations starts from $16 depending on the product and weight). We ship using FedEx or USPS (and sometimes a few other partner carriers).

You'll receive tracking when your order ships out, usually within 1-2 days after the order is placed (unless it is a pre-order). RETURNS
If you are unhappy with your mattress for any reason, you have 100(!) days to return it for a full refund. We ask that you use a mattress protector to keep your mattress in a suitable condition during your trial period, free from excessive stains, tears, odors, or soiling. Maximum 1 mattress allowed per household. Simply reach out to us and we can arrange the return ticket
After we receive your return back at our warehouse, you'll get a full refund within 5 business days. Please note that the customer is responsible for the small return shipping cost, we do not however charge a restocking fee.

How does the dual-sided design benefit my child?
This means the crib mattress has a firm side and a slightly softer side. For infants, use the firm side. Once the baby is approximately one year old, turn the mattress over for a more comfortable sleep surface. Both sides are firm enough to be safe for an infant.
How do I care for the mattress?
Since we wanted to make the mattress completely plastic-free, it is not waterproof on its own. Hence we strongly recommend pairing it with the KATU Organic Mattress Protector which fits our mattress perfectly, we offer this at a discounted rate when purchasing a mattress for your ease of use
Is the mattress safe for sensitive babies?
Absolutely! In fact, more sensitive babies will benefit the most from our mattress's 100% organic, VOC-free construction and are most at risk from mainstream mattresses
Will this mattress fit my crib?
Our mattress is built specifically to fit snugly within standard US cribs, it measures 52" x 28" x 4" and weighs approximately 15lbs

KATU Organic Crib Mattresses come with a lifetime guarantee. If you ever have a product issue, please contact us immediately and we will gladly help resolve the issue. As a US-based organic brand, we prioritize solving problems quickly and keeping our customers pleased.
Please leave all labels in place, unaltered. Mishandling and neglect will void the guarantee, including stains and unsanitary conditions. The guarantee does not cover mold, odors, and/or discoloration.

I had Newton crib mattresses for our older daughters, which theyre still sleeping on as toddlers. It seems that Newton has been somewhat of a gold standard for safe, healthy crib mattresses, but so far I am liking this Katu mattress as much if not more for our new baby. She sleeps more soundly on it, without interruptions, and so far I can see that it really supports her sleep and therefore growth.
This mattress has several layers of GOTS-certified goodness - organic coconut fiber on the infant side, organic wool for padding and fire resistance, and organic latex on the toddler side, all tucked into an organic cotton cover. On the product description each material is listed with its country of origin for transparency.
The cover itself is a beautiful soft sage green which I love. Its easy to unzip and wash, and this crib mattress also came with a waterproof mattress protector.

Really nice product and very high quality. Daughter had previously purchased another like this at a hundred bucks more and she said this one is better. No plastics, organic with a lifetime guarantee while also coming in less expensive than similar mattresses.It comes super well wrapped (in a box and double wrapped) keeping the mattress pristine in shipping. The extra mattress protector is also extremely nice. GOT certified, really creative materials and it feels amazing. This one is for my DIL and she is very excited. Both girls are very cautious about plastics and other chemicals so this is a great find. This toddler sized mattress seems to be really well made and I love that it is made with natural materials. It is double-sided, so it can be used for both infants or toddlers. It feels very sturdy and supportive. It is a little heavier than other brands I've used, which isn't a problem. It also came with a mattress protector, which is a nice addition. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it!
The KATU mattress is decent so far. It's firm, which I like for my baby, and the organic materials are a plus. Shipping was quick, but the packaging was a little beat up. Still, it seems to work well enough.
